Agent P Mission Marvel Revealed

Looks like a photo has leaked of the upcoming Agent P Mission Marvel figure that will be released at Disney Stores on June 24. That date is still rumor, as not confirmed by Disney, but is reported from many Disney Stores. Vinylmation Kingdom was sent and posted this photo:

I love it! Agent P is in his superhero costume and has a "P" on his belt. No hat for Agent P, but by the piece seen between the head and body, he does have a cape attached. The episode, a crossover between Phineas and Ferb and Marvel, is set to air this summer.

Agent P Superhero Mission Marvel Vinylmation

This is as close to Marvel Vinylmation as we will seem to come for the time being. This summer, Phineas and Ferb will have a special episode called "Mission Marvel" were various Marvel superheroes and villains visit the Tri-State area. Of course we are to see much merchandise from this very special and much anticipated episode... but Vinylmation Kingdom is reported an Agent P Superhero Mission Marvel Vinylmation. No pictures yet, but here is a screenshot of everyone's favorite crime fighting Platypus from the episode's trailer:

Not quite a Marvel character, but a superhero. And the product will carry the Marvel name. Just one step closer to what we are all waiting for. In case you have not seen it, here is the preview promoting the episode.

Release Day Friday: November 30, 2012

Only two items released today and they are both online releases of products already available elsewhere.

Next week is set up as a slow release day as well. According to Disney, all we will see is the Mad T Party LE combo in California.

Christmas Time Is Here Again...

After Friday's WDW Trade Night I visited Downtown Disney were the Christmas lights were strung and classic holiday tunes burst out from the speakers. At Target this morning the Christmas displays merrily greeted the shoppers. And as I sit here, writing this post, I sip from my red Starbucks cup filled to the brim with Gingerbread goodness. Oh, Christmas time is upon us once again, so let's take a look at Disney's Christmas themed Vinylmation offerings for 2012.

They are really pushing this Agent P Christmas design across all merchandise platforms this year. I did purchase the pin because of the extra elements on it such as the wire, but I will pass on this design. Not because it doesn't look well done, but because I already have the original version. You can pick Agent P up at D-Streets on November 16th and at the Disney Store Online on November 30th for $12.95. They have everything from plush to antenna toppers with this design at the parks, but I found some extra fun things online.

I'm pretty sure I'll be making this 3-D ornament. You can find the template here at DisneyFamily.com. I also know some friends who would be happy to receive a Christmas card that looks like this...

This combo pack came out on November 2 at D-Streets and Disney Store Online for $26.95. It is an Open Edition set. Then we come to the classic Mickey Mouse...

...dressed as Santa Clause. This appears to be the Christmas release this year meaning we may not be getting a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party or Osborne or Holidays Around the World figure. I believe we have gotten at least one of the above in each of the last three seasons. I'm glad they went with a classic pie eyed Mickey here. He looks wonderful in person. The classic look of his face is what turned me from a no to a yes on this one. He even has mistletoe in one ear. If I had one complaint, it would be the hat looks a bit too ridged, but otherwise, a solid figure. Santa Mickey can be had on November 9 at D-Streets and Online for $16.95.

The Agent P World Showcase Adventure recently opened up at Epcot. It is an interactive game for Phineas and Ferb fans of all ages to play. So of course, the Vinylmation version of the secret agent platypus wanted to check it out as well. While there, he took a tour around the world.

WDW Trading Event; News We Learned

The WDW Trading Night was full of previews as usual. Not much we haven't seen in some form or another, but some great news including: Release Dates for Park 9, Duffy and Park Starz Variants. A ghost bride reveals herself for the first time. We got our first look at the Mascot Series. And oh ya, we learned of more Mickey's Circus vinyls for the fall event!


MICKEY'S CIRCUS

Details: We were told of some Vinylmation that are not yet in the preview catalog, but will be available for the event. There will be two 9" figures each with an LE 100. The CMs would not disclose the identity of the figures. There will also be another 3" two pack featuring two bears. Again, the identity of the bears was not disclosed, but we can speculate based on the pins and Disney bears that we know. No Vinyls were on display, but we did get a look at 3 of the special pins:

Donald! The faces on this series are amazing. The hat is fantastic. 

Goofy has one of the best accessories I have ever seen... foam finger! What do you think of the shape of the right arm to make that effect happen?

We have seen this Pluto, but this is why you don't buy dumpster divers... the real figure comes with a flag. How cool is that!!?? Maria Clapsis has out done herself with this series.

I was worried about the color, but looks great in person.

The detail in person is great. They look so well produced and designed. Also, the size of Duffy sitting is the size of a 3" Vinylmation. It appeared it might be a bit bigger. Not a bad thing.

Haunted Mansion Bride (June 9). The surprise of the bunch and in my opinion the best. Makes perfect sense and looks great.
