Eggciting Vinylmation Themed Limited Time Magic!

Update 03/18/13 Thanks to a comment by Steve and Lisa, it looks like the prize is in fact your choice of one of four Vinylmation Pairs 2 Jr key chains.

Update 03/17/13 Disney website, LimitedTimeMagic.com has revealed the details about this wonderful Vinylmation themed promotion! It is an all week event that will take place from March 18 to March 24, 2013 at Epcot and California Adventure. The basics seem like one egg in each of the World Showcase pavilions. The nominal fee is $4.95. At the end, you get 2 Junior Vinylmation. I still hold out hope they are special event figures, but let's be honest, they are probably Pairs 2 that have been on sale for a year. I would not think they are two random "blind boxed" juniors because they attach a $12.95 value to them together. The map is fun looking with adorable Egg shaped characters as the stickers!

Here are the details, direct from Disney:

• At Epcot, maps can be purchased at the Heritage Manor in the American Adventure Pavilion, International Gateway, Pin Central and Port of Entry.
• At Disney California Adventure park, you can purchase the map at Elias & Co., Oswald’s, Radiator Springs Curios, Tower Hotel Gifts and Treasures in Paradise.
• Each map and set of stickers will cost $4.95, plus tax at select locations. And whether you choose to hunt for eggs or not, return your map to a Port of Entry at Epcot or Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure park for a surprise.
• Maps will be available while supplies last and no discounts apply. You should also know that separate admission is required to enter Disney Theme Parks and the experience is subject to restrictions and change without notice.

I was hunting around the internet for some Vinylmation stories when I came upon a post on Vinylmation Kingdom that made me hop for joy! I am already sunny side up for Disney's Limited Time Magic, and there seems to be an upcoming event that will have all Vinylmation fans scrambling over to Walt Disney World. Check out this image that appears to be from a future park times guide:

What!? Ok, no exact date or further details are known at this time, but it seems you purchase this map and then search Epcot (and maybe other parks?) for eggs. You will not pick up the eggs, but instead, mark their location on your map. When you find them all (or a specified amount), you return to a location and claim your prize! We assume the prize is a Vinylmation. How great would it be if it is a special 2013 Flower and Garden figure!? That may be a stretch, it will probably be a Phineas and Ferb, Disney Star Wars or some other on sale figure. But as long as the search isn't over easy, this should be fun!

Now, my emotions will be hard boiled if the "nominal fee" is more than a couple bucks. Unless of course it is a special event only figure. Wouldn't it be cool if you got what you paid in. Maybe a $3, $8, $13 tier were you can get a sale figure, mid level figure or event figure? Anyway, I have been loving this year's Limited Time Magic promotion and will for sure be out there when this Vinylmation "Easter Egg" Hunt is announced!
