New San Francisco Trolley and Lombard Junior Key Chains

Disney Store Artist Enrique Pita showed off a photo on Instagram of his 3" Lombard Street design turned into a Junior key chain.

The junior is now available at the San Francisco Disney Store along with a Junior version of the RED Trolley. That is kind of interesting seeing that the Red Trolley design is a Dan Beltran design from a 3" back when Mickey still had a contoured nose. Enrique just recently released an updated, green version of the trolley. Here are both new Junior key chains in their packages courtesy of Vinylmation Exchange.

Mysterious New Junior Keychains

Our friend Stephanie found these keychain juniors at the Villains in Vogue shop at Hollywood Studios.

It appears to be a Minnie and Cheshire in a old school color palette. They remind me of the 9" Mickey from The Florida Project. On the back it says that these are two of the ten figures in the Pairs series. So I would guess that there are also a Mickey and Donald and one other character, all packaged with a design figure too.

Has anyone else seen these? What do you think they are a part of?

DCL Key Chains to Release Jan 1

As the story goes, the captain of the Wonder kept loosing his keys. Guests where getting upset as their trip of a lifetime aboard a DCL ship would be delayed... for the ship could not leave port without the captain's keys.

The Disney team scratched their heads, "How can we stop this from happening," they asked. "What object so valuable to the captain can we attache to his keys that he would not dare leave them out of his sight?"

The captain then remarked, "I am quite the collector of those Vinylmation. Surely if you found someway to attach one of those to my keys, I would not loose them."

So they did. With a bit of Disney magic, a drill, tape and some scrap metal inexplicably left over from the building of the new Disney Fantasy ship, the team put together an amazing key chain. And guests would, without fail on every voyage, ask the captain and crew where they could get such key chains. Then a light bulb went off at the Disney Design Group. (and some say the sound of a cash register could be heard)

"Hey!" one bright designer said. "If we make souvenir Vinylmation key chains with the DCL logo and sell them on the Magic, Dream and Wonder in packs of 2 for only $16.95 per set on or around January 1, 2012, guests will surly buy them." And so this set was born.

Red and Black. A nice simple, standard DCL design.

Blue and White. A very nautical feel to this pair. The bow design on one and a wheel on the other.

Grey, Black and Yellow. I love the Mickey Captain head! The anchor is a fantastic design as well.

Pink and White. A little something for the ladies. Great take on the DCL logo.

DCL Junior Key Chains

Last night at the Trade Show at WDW, these four sets of Junior key chains were on display. It looks like the Disney Cruise Lines will be receiving these, just like the New York City store got a few Junior Key Chains of their figures.
I think they're a nice selection of figures to choose from. I really like the black and white Mickey one. Which is your favorite?
