UPDATED: Japan D23 Expo 2013 Vinylmation
Update 10/07/13 The D23 Expo Japan 2013 Vinylmation will be a blind box set of 7 figures and 1 chaser. It will be released on October 12 at the Expo in Japan. The following photo was pulled off an eBay pre-sell listing. The set features Pooh, Sorcerer Mickey, Tinker Bell, Mike, Sulley, Woody, Buzz and Oswald as the chaser.
The Walt Disney Company Japan will stage the first-ever D23 Expo Japan, a special event for Japanese-speaking Disney fans created by D23: The Official Disney Fan Club. D23 Expo Japan, the first Expo to be held outside the U.S., will feature an array of engaging presentations—for the most part in Japanese—hosted by senior Disney Japan creative executives, showcasing what’s on the horizon from across The Walt Disney Company, including theme parks, movies, television, music, and interactive gaming. Fans will enjoy unique experiences; have the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind merchandise and collectibles; meet many of their favorite Disney characters; and delight in countless other surprises. D23 Expo Japan will take place October 12-14, 2013, at the Tokyo Disney Resort in the Maihama area.
D23 Expo Japan will also feature two special exhibitions celebrating landmark Disney milestones. First, to pay homage to The Walt Disney Company’s 90th Anniversary, D23 and the Walt Disney Archives will present Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives, featuring nine decades of treasures from the Archives’ vast collection. Plus, the Tokyo Disney Resort will celebrate its 30th year with a special retrospective exhibit. This special exhibition, presented by Oriental Land, operator of Tokyo Disney Resort, celebrates this milestone year by making D23 Expo Japan possible.
Check out the D23 Expo Japan 2013 event details as they are posted.
“We are thrilled to host this extraordinary, three-day event where all the wonderful worlds of Disney come together,” said Paul Candland, president, The Walt Disney Company Japan. “2013 marks The Walt Disney Company’s 90th anniversary, Disney Channel’s 10th, Disney Mobile’s fifth, the Disney-JCB Card’s fifth, Dlife’s first, and Tokyo Disney Resort’s 30th! The D23 Expo Japan allows us to show Disney’s tremendous appreciation to its fans.”
And like any Disney event, this will NOT be without merchandise! Thanks to @Takuya_Vinyl, we have a look at the Vinylmation for the event. No word on how these will be released or if they are Limited Edition.

Japan Girls Festival Mickey & Minnie
Update: Tomy, or @Vinylmati0n on twitter, lives in Japan and has a Vinylmation blog. He just posted some HQ pictures of the Japan Girls Festival Vinylmation along with some photos of the shelves at the stores.
An eBay seller located in Japan (tokyo-old-new-jp) just pre-sold a new pair of Vinylmation.
They are said to be released on December 26 in Japan. At first, they appear to have a flocking or other texture, but a look at some other angles shows this may not be true.
According to Wikipedia: The Japanese Doll Festival, or Girls' Day, is held on March 3. Platforms covered with a red carpet are used to display a set of ornamental dolls representing the Emperor, Empress, attendants, and musicians in traditional court dress of the Heian period.
The eBay seller who listed these items also seems to sell other Vinylmation and items out of Japan if you are interested.

If You Had Three Wishes...
If you had a magic lamp, what three Vinylmation would you wish for? This new 2013 Daruma Wishes 3" Genie Vinylmation from Japan sure conjures magical imagery.
It is also a bit on the mysterious side. We do know it has been released in Japan and is listed at the online Japan Disney Store for 1,200 Yen. But we have some questions from the artwork. Can anyone tell us what the idea with the eyes is? The close up bubble shows a black eye dot drawn in. Is it a customizable option on the figure? Let us know what your thoughts are. I think the lamp drawn onto the feet with the Genie rising up above is great, but the facial design isn't as appealing as the Park 11 Genie in my opinion. Oh, and my answer to the question posed above?
1. Osborne 2009
2. Cinderella's 60th
3. Wall-E

New 2013 Japan Daruma and Kaa Eto
@Takuya_Vinyl tweeted out the above picture. I depicts a new Japan Tokyo Disneyland Resort Exclusive Daruma Otoshi Mickey & Minnie. It also has a picture of the New Year 2013 Eto Kaa. All thee figures are set for a December 1 release. I'm a big Jungle Book fan and I love the way he wraps around the canvas. I also like the cartoonish art style he is drawn with.

Japan's Walt Disney 110th Anniversary Series
On October 5th, Disney Stores in Japan will release a set titled Walt Disney 110th Anniversary Series. This will be a blind box series with a 1200 YEN ($15 USD) price tag on it.
The set has a cute, love theme going on here. You can also kind of pair up a few of these such as Mickey/Minnie, Donald/Daisy, even Pongo/Cheshire if you want to go cat and dog. Pooh and Bambi are forest animals. But I can not link Goofy and Pinocchio no matter how hard I try. Then you have the Three Little Pigs which leads me to speculate on a Chip and Dale chaser as I stated in the last podcast. Here is a look at the individual figures.

New Japanese Set? eBay rumor
Rust pointed us to this auction on eBay. According to that auction this is a new Japan Disney Store series celebrating 110 years of Disney. No confirmation so far, but it's an interesting set. Lots of hearts and magic. Lots of figures we've scene before, almost like a combination of sets. The Cheshire looks similar to ones we've seen before. The three little pigs are all on one vinyl, like they will be for the Nursery Rhymes set.
What are your thoughts?

Japan Halloween Vinyls
Thanks to @Vinylmati0n for the tweet about these new Halloween themed vinyls to be released in Japan.
September 1 is the released date and 1200 Yen ($15) is the price. There is a glow in the dark Mickey Vampire. The cape looks similar to the Vampire Goofy released today at Disney Stores. The face looks great and I like the little bit of shading drawn into the ears and feet. There is also a Mickey Pumpkin with a witch hat. The body of that one has a Minnie Pumpkin floating through it and appears to have clear blue arms. I think I would rather have 2 different ones or the pumpkins stacked on top of each other. The third is a Ghost Mickey with a hat. The body says "Halloween Party" with another ghost floating through it. The bottom looks like the top of a trick or treat bag. Its a fun Halloween design.
